Brad Fackrell of FM&C designed and built a custom brick masonry arch for my front entryway. The job was started on the agreed-upon date and finished on the agreed-upon schedule. He obviously did his planning and preparation ahead of time. The cost estimate was appropriate and there were no extra charges. Job site cleanliness and safety were excellent. His workmanship was exemplary. Brad is accommodating and a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend him for masonry work.

Look no further if you need chimney work! Our chimney had several issues - many of the mortar joints had deteriorated, along with some bricks and decorative facings, (it was built in 1981). We knew we needed a licensed mason and were so glad to find Brad from Fackrell Masonry. He was timely in coming to McCall to take a look and gave us a very reasonable quote. Our roof-line proved to be a challenge to access all four sides of our very large chimney. We were glad he recommended renting a lift! His safety was important to us! We couldn’t be happier with the final results. Brad is a skilled professional AND a great guy. Thanks to his workmanship and attention to detail, we don’t anticipate needing his services again, but if we ever do, we’ll definitely be giving him a call! Wait, just saw on his website, he also does paving work - hmmm, may be needing him next summer.

In September, I contracted Brad Fackrell to repair my brick chimney. The bricks were deteriorating and spalling off chunks of the bricks due to age and weathering. The cap was also in need of repair, and a drip edge had to be added to prevent further damage to side bricks.
Fackrell Masonry did a fantastic job in repairing my chimney. He was easy to work with and very efficient. It was hard to get access to the side of our house where the chimney is, and Brad made sure to position the man lift he rented so it would not damage our landscaping. Despite the extensive damage on our bricks, Brad did a fine job in restoring our chimney and cementing on a new chimney cap. After the project was completed, he did a great job in cleaning up all brick residue on the roof and other areas below the project. His fees were reasonable for the amount of work done, and it was my pleasure to give this project to a military veteran.

Fackrell Masonry replaced the stone on the outside of our cabin. Brad did superb work on the walls. He is truly a craftsman that pays attention to detail and provides a quality outcome. Swan Valley School had Fackrell Masonry do two different projects for the school. First, they came in and repaired all of the mortar damage from ice build up around the school that was causing the bricks to fall off. Second they came in and cleaned up all the hard water marks from the sprinkler systems and then sprayed it with a sealant to help protect the school. The work they performed is top notch and this is a very good company to work with. They are up front, honest, and do what they say they're going to do.

Hard to find anyone these days to do brick repair work who does an amazing job, good price, trustworthy and will not take advantage of you. My 80 year old mother has lived in the same brick mid-century modern home for 57 years. Her house is 67 years old and needed a little TLC. We went through several bids and contractors, and thankfully we found Brad at Fackrell Masonry. He did everything right. Met us in person. Walked around the house and looked at damage. Explained his process. What he thinks we needed. Took photos. Then few days later sent a very detailed bid with a breakdown of cost and photos of current damage and examples of other work he has done to show us what he will do. We signed a contract and set a date for repair work, and he met his date. Was on time. Made sure to lay down drop cloths on roof and on plants and patio furniture. Took him about a week to do a chimney repoint, whole house brick repoint and repair. He matched the old mortar perfectly and we are so happy with how it looks and the whole experience with Brad. We highly recommend him. He has been in the business all his life. Family business. And he did the work you would expect form all those years of hard work. Thank you, Brad. He worked tirelessly to repair our chimney. Not only did he do an excellent job repairing the chimney, he brought it back to its original design for a house built in 1953. Working with Brad on having my chimney rebuilt was a pleasure from start to finish. It was easy to make an appointment, get a detailed quote, and get my questions answered. The job was scheduled within a couple of weeks and completed in the promised time frame.
Brad focuses on quality, integrity, and customer service. I asked him to look at my chimney and my foundation, and his honest assessment was that the missing mortar on the foundation was only cosmetic and that the chimney would last a few more years. You can trust him not to try to sell a job that is not needed.
He did a great job rebuilding the chimney so that it looks new but fits the historic appearance of the house. He even paid attention to little details that weren't really included in the scope of work; for example, my TV antenna had to come down when he tore down the chimney, so he managed to attach it to his scaffolding so I wouldn't lose reception while he worked!

Some limestone tiles (2 foot square) on my front steps started to breakup a couple of years ago. It was a relatively small job to replace them, but none of the masonry contractors were interested in doing it. Fortunately Brad was willing to do it. It turned out to be a bigger job than first expected. Brad did an outstanding job (quality, commitment, etc) including ordering from the quarry in Alabama that produced the original stone tiles 20 years ago.

Did a fantastic job with the masonry work at my house. Originally the mortar was a bit too dark, but fackrell made the extra effort to remove it and redo it, which took quite a bit of time, and it came out perfect! They made sure that it was done 100% right.
