Industrial Metals building
Stone veneer wainscot installed around a new two-story commercial metal building, from bare sheathing to finished stone at the covered entry.
Our first project of the year. Nothing like a blank slate, and this is how a lot of our projects start: bare sheathing, snow still on the ground, and Dad out front scoping out the situation and sharing his years of wisdom. Did I mention Dad was 81 when we did this one and still showing up to jobs? He's amazing.
We ran stone veneer around the base of the building, working off the concrete stem wall up to the belt line under the windows. About halfway through, all was going smooth and the temperature shot up quick. The first few days required freeze precautions and then we were dealing with heat. All in a day's work for a mason. We do cherish those perfect 65 degree days with no wind, but seldom see them.
Mom still pops in on occasion to keep us all in line.
Another happy customer! Not the greatest picture...we generally finish up before the landscaping and the finishing touches are done, so you get a dirt yard and a traffic cone in the last photo. I'll try to get another one when the building is finished.
